Deposit:
A 50% NOT refundable deposit is required during event booking.
A 100% will be required if you book 7 days or less of your event date.
The deposit is based on the projected total Invoice for your event.
Cancellations:
No refunds will be made if the event is canceled.
Due to the delicate nature of the service we provide, which is food and that includes preparation, the scheduled day and time of the event can only be changed once, one week (8 days) in advance.
No deposit refunds will be made in case of natural disasters such as climatic conditions, pandemics or epidemics, war, sickness, death, or any other unexpected situation. In this case, the event could be rescheduled for six months.
Menu:
The final menu will be designed according to your food preferences and you have till one week before the event to make up two time changes.
Payment:
Balance (invoice total minus deposit) is due one day before service.
Payments may be on Cash, Zelle, Apple Pay, CashApp, Square, or Personal Check.
Deadlines:
There will be no additions to the headcount within three days of the event.
The menu plan must be approved at least five days in advance of the event date.
Kitchen:
Chef of the World LLC will require access to the kitchen at least 2 hours before the event start time.
You will have a clean Kitchen with previously agreed-upon counter space available.
All Appliances will be in working order.
For insurance and safety, no guests, children, or pets may mingle or loiter in the kitchen while we are cooking.
Services included in this agreement:
Chef of the World LLC will cook, Plating, and Serve all meals, or set up the Buffet chafing dishes per agreement terms.
Chef of the World will be done of duty after two hours from the time the event begins. If The Chef is requested to stay, overtime will be charged at a rate of $80 per hour per member of staff.
Services Not Available:
Chef of the World LLC is NOT a licensed alcohol distributor or Bartender; we are unable to purchase or serve alcoholic beverages. We can assist you in locating a licensed Alcohol distributor/bartender. Chef of the World will not provide dishwasher services.
Food Allergies or Restrictions:
It is the sole responsibility of the client to inform, Chef of the World LLC as to any person knowing, prior or present food allergies, reactions, and medical restrictions to all the foods or food products provided to said event by Chef of the World LLC, and will provide notice of known allergies, reactions or, and conditions in writing, to Chef of the World LLC at least seven days before said event. Unless specifically notified of such, Chef of the World LLC shall be held harmless from all illness, injuries, or reactions to all food or food products, either prepared by or purchased by Chef of the World LLC for use with said event, as a provider under this agreement of services.
